ABOUT US
Established in 1973, W Brown Roadworks Ltd began life as a plant hire operation before diversifying into its current role as a trusted roadworks contractor. In 2008, the company created its own custom-built headquarters on West Pitkerro Industrial Estate, to the east of Dundee, which is where the business still operates from today.​
The company continues to be family-owned and enjoys minimal staff turnover. The third generation of the family is now involved in day-to-day operations, alongside a highly trained and directly-employed workforce. The Company is still in the control of the same pair of hands that operated the single Whitlock 505 excavator in 1973.
Today, W Brown Roadworks Ltd is proud to be the contractor of choice for quality road surfacing and is founded on a solid financial base. We maintain a fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment that is wholly-owned, and we have supply contracts with six coated material suppliers. This means all of our contracts, in all locations, can be supplied with quality material at any time.
